MISSION IS TO EDUCATE THE WORLD ON THE LIFE-CHANGING EFFECTS
OF PROLOTHERAPY |

JOP desires
to be comprehensive in scope as it relates to Prolotherapy.
The table of contents in each issue will have most of the
following sections:
Great News Corner
Lance Armstrong, the seven-time winner of the Tour de
France, once said, “Everyday in yellow is a good day.”
As many of you know, the leader of the Tour de France wears
the yellow jersey during the race until he is no longer
the leader. Then he passes the yellow jersey to the current
leader throughout the course of the 23-day event. As long
as Lance was leading the race, he would be wearing a yellow
jersey! We feel the same way about Prolotherapy as Lance
does about wearing the yellow jersey. Every day you can
provide Prolotherapy to help rid someone of their pain
is not just a good day, but a great day!
Welcome to the
Journal of Prolotherapy (JOP) website. We hope to provide
you with the most comprehensive, up-to-date information
on what is going on in the world of Prolotherapy. Mostly
we desire to educate the world on the life-changing effects
of Prolotherapy. I am sure you would agree that it is great
news that a treatment exists to get people out of chronic
pain.
Each issue I plan to give a synopsis on what is contained
in the current issue; hence the name, the Great News Corner.
In each issue of JOP we hope to share both the clinicians’
experience with using Prolotherapy, as well as the experiences
of real people whose lives have been changed by Prolotherapy!
If
you have a story to tell, we want to publish it. If you
have any comments that you would like to share with me
please email me at hauserr@journalofprolotherapy.com.
Remember that no matter how bad the pain, you can always
“Prolo Your Pain and Sports Injuries Away!”
Awesome Staff
JOP is fortunate to have a very talented staff from a variety
of backgrounds. We will continue to try to have folks involved
in JOP that represent health care professionals, as well
as the lay public. We hope to hear from folks involved from
all over the world! If you would like to volunteer your time
to help us educate the world on the life-changing effects
of Prolotherapy, please drop us a line!
Fantastic Findings
There is much to report on the results of Prolotherapy.
Because Prolotherapy stimulates the body to repair painful
areas, it can be used in just about every painful condition.
What the world needs to hear is that Prolotherapy really
does work! We need to publish the results of Prolotherapy
for a wide variety of painful conditions—many fantastic
findings! With each issue of JOP we hope to add
to the ever-growing mountain of published reports that
it is possible to get out of chronic pain with Prolotherapy.
While original
research is always needed to show that a particular procedure
is beneficial, a fantastic finding could represent just
one case. This is especially true when Prolotherapy was
used instead of surgery for a particular condition. If
you have made a fantastic finding with Prolotherapy, we
hope that you will write it up and send it to us for publication.
Remarkable RecoverIES
Imagine yourself being in chronic pain for over ten years.
You undergo numerous treatments, including several surgeries.
The cost of the care along basically bankrupts you. Your
life is on the verge ruin and you are in deep despair.
You hear about “another” pain therapy and decide to give
it a try. After several months of receiving the therapy
you start to feel better. Your hope is returning. As you
receive more Prolotherapy, not only does your pain go away,
but your function starts to return. You start telling everyone,
but not many people are listening. What you want to do
is tell the whole world your story! You want to shout,
“Hey people, you can get your life back! You need to get
Prolotherapy for your pain! I have had a remarkable recovery
and so can you!”
If the above represents your sentiments,
then by all means, let the world know your story! Write
up your story. Send us a picture of yourself doing something
that you love to do along with a short biography (one to
two paragraphs) along with your remarkable horror story
turned remarkable recovery with Prolotherapy. We hope you
are one of the remarkable recovery stories we share in
JOP to encourage others. If you are not a writer, we can
interview you and help you tell your story.
TEACHING TECHNIQUES
To encourage doctors to utilize Prolotherapy in all of
the conditions it can help, we hope to illustrate and explain
the technique of Prolotherapy. By doing this, as well as
educating doctors on all the places where further Prolotherapy
technique training is available, we hope that Prolotherapy
will be utilized to its fullest capacity.
An example of
this is the anterior cruciate ligament. Not all doctors
inject this ligament. By illustrating the technique of
Prolotherapy for the anterior cruciate ligament, we hope
that more doctors doing Prolotherapy, will utilize Prolotherapy
for anterior cruciate ligament injuries. Ultimately, this
will help people with this injury, especially athletes,
get back to health quicker!
Wonder Why?
JOP believes that for most chronic painful conditions,
Prolotherapy is one of the treatments that should be seriously
considered. In this section of JOP, we will tell you why!
We believe that if utilized to its fullest, Prolotherapy
can eliminate the need for most surgical procedures for
chronic musculoskeletal pain. If utilized early in the
degenerative process, we believe Prolotherapy can subsequently
reduce the number of future orthopedic surgeries that are
needed.
If you agree, then why not write an article on
why Prolotherapy should be used for a particular condition.
Why does it make the most sense? What has been your experience
with the condition? Give a series of cases, for example.
Four-Legged Prolotherapy
Prolotherapy use continues to grow not only in human, but
also in veterinary medicine. While it is important to help
people eliminate their pain, it is equally important to show
mainstream veterinary doctors that Prolotherapy should be
considered a good treatment option for many of the chronic
musculoskeletal conditions that animals experience. As in
humans, if most veterinarians provided Prolotherapy, a lot
of needless animal suffering could be avoided.
NEWS from OUR Readers
To have JOP be fully successful, we need to hear from our
readers. Do you have questions that you would like us to
answer? Did we print something that really helped you? Was
there some information that was incorrect? We need your help.
Please let us hear from you!
It’s a Wide Wide World: Literature Review
Besides our authors and readers commenting on their experiences
with Prolotherapy, we hope to notify our readership about
some of the more interesting articles published around
the globe on Prolotherapy and painful conditions. Ultimately,
we all benefit by continuing to educate ourselves on the
latest research and publications regarding chronic pain.
Besides
letting readers know where to find the noteworthy article
on the internet, we hope to publish the article summary
and/or abstract. We will also comment on why this article
should be of interest to everyone. Please let us know if
you have read a good article and it applies to those interested
in helping people get out of chronic pain! We may use it
in this section of JOP. We know it is a wide, wide, world
out there and we can’t know of all the articles! JOP’s
mission is to educate the world on the life-changing effects
of Prolotherapy. If other therapies or knowledge that will
help us in our quest to rid the planet of musculoskeletal
pain (as much as we can) is available, then we need to
get the word out!
